Paving Sealing Service

Here at LSD, we can offer a sealing service of certain ranges of paving stones. The sealing is currently available on the majority of the Hardstone Paving Range. The slabs will be sealed with a dry-look sealant or wet-look dependant on your choice. Only the top surface will be sealed, 2 coats will be applied as per the instructions of the manufacturer. The service is charged at £8/m2 + vat.

The slabs will be unpacked from the crates, pressure washed down to remove any dirt that may have got onto the slabs between India, the shipping container and our yards. They will be left to dry outside before the first coat of sealant is applied. After a set period of time, a second coat will be applied. After this has then dried the slabs will be re-packaged and securely inserted into the crates and sent out for delivery to you. This whole process is dependant on dry weather as we don't have enough floor space to leave out large quantities of paving. From start to finish the approximate time frame is 7-10 working days and this should be added to the time quoted on our site for the delivery schedule selected. As the products have been customised we cannot accept returns on products that have been sealed. As the porosity of stones vary we always apply two coats of the sealant to ensure they have had a good seal, despite the manufacturer stating that they may only need one. In the very unlikely occasion that some slabs may need a top-up, we do sell the sealant and applicator separately.
