Indian Limestone Paving Setts - Aged Look for Driveways
Traditional Charm for Your Driveway

These Indian limestone paving setts are ideal for creating a driveway with the look and feel of aged stone. Perfect for cottages or rural properties, the Sandur setts come in a range of warm colours, including yellow, mustard, and tan. To enhance the aged appearance, the surfaces have been specially treated to create a subtle, almost waxy sheen.

Versatile Laying Options

The setts feature a combination of sawn and tumbled edges, allowing for a close fit with minimal joints when laid. For a tighter finish, simply fill the gaps with silica sand. Alternatively, you can create a more cobbled look with 10mm joints, which will require pointing with a cement-based mix.

Calibrated for Faster Installation

These setts come in a consistent 50mm or 40mm thickness, allowing them to be laid just like block paving. This method is faster and more cost-effective than using a traditional cement bed. Simply install them directly onto a screeded base and finish with silica sand.

In Summary:

  • Achieve the look of an aged driveway
  • Warm yellow, mustard, and tan colours (Sandur)
  • Waxy-looking surface for an antique feel
  • Sawn and tumbled edges for close fitting
  • Lay with minimal joints using silica sand

Sandstone

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock that is most often composed of quartz sand, although sometimes they can be formed of feldspar. Sandstone is one of the most popular stones for garden paving, this is due to its strength, durability and also the different types of finishes and natural colours that it has meaning that it can be adapted to suit any type or style of garden.

You can get Sandstone paving with a variety of different surface finishes. One of the finishes you can get with sandstone is a riven finish, this finish gives the stone more of a textured, rustic look. This type of finish is the first finish you get from the natural stone once the stone is sheered apart. This process occurs when the stone is originally cut from the block and sheered apart and thus giving a riven finish along the vein of the rock.
