With its subtle mix of browns and buff colours, the Autumn Bronze Multi Single Sizes pack gives a modern, stylish and elegant feel to any patio or pathway. Fairstone Sawn Sandstone is an ethically sourced, fine grained Quartzitic sandstone from India with a lightly sandblasted and brushed finish for the visibly smooth sawn surface which creates a smooth and contemporary finish, lightly textured for non slip practicality. The stone is carefully calibrated to a consistent thickness to ensure speed and precision of installation, Fairstone Sawn is not only available Autumn Bronze but also in Caramel Cream Multi, Antique Silver Multi and Golden Sand Multi. For a finishing touch, the Fairstone Sawn Step Kit is supplied complete with attractive radius corners and bullnosed front edge. A lightly sandblasted finish improves the slip resistance of what is an apparently smooth surface. Paving should never be butt jointed If used indoors, paving should be sealed with a proprietary water-based acrylic sealant

Sandstone

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock that is most often composed of quartz sand, although sometimes they can be formed of feldspar. Sandstone is one of the most popular stones for garden paving, this is due to its strength, durability and also the different types of finishes and natural colours that it has meaning that it can be adapted to suit any type or style of garden.

You can get Sandstone paving with a variety of different surface finishes. One of the finishes you can get with sandstone is a riven finish, this finish gives the stone more of a textured, rustic look. This type of finish is the first finish you get from the natural stone once the stone is sheered apart. This process occurs when the stone is originally cut from the block and sheered apart and thus giving a riven finish along the vein of the rock.
