The Ocean Kota Blue patio pack has a consistent blue blend of Indian limestone paving from LSD. The smokey kota blue colour works well when mixed with black accessories such as cobbles. This is a popular kind of Indian stone and it is used in many restaurants, bars and in the home.
The surface finish of limestone is a similar look to that of an orange peel, very slightly textured. The side of the slabs almost has an arcrylic waxy look to it. This by no way means the paving isnt hard. Limestone basically means any rock formed mostly of calcium carbonate.
The paving slabs were mined from the Kota region in India the surface finish is classed as natural and the 4 edges have been hand dressed to give a natural finish as opposed to a sawn edge. Durable and longevity are words that would describe the paving well.
The ocean blue is now calibrated to a thickness of 25mm, subject to manufacturers machines tolerances.

A mixed patio pack consists of the following sizes:
The quoted pack m2 allows for joint widths as stated in the specification above.
WARNING: This is NOT the economy / value / budget natural paving that many other online retailers are selling. Their packs are 18sq m plus and range from 15 - 20mm thick, this makes the slabs vulnerable to cracking and splitting especially when subjected to frost and ground movement due to inclement weather conditions. Their budget type of thin paving is recommended for indoor use as a tile and laid on a solid concrete floor with special adhesives that are designed to accommodate expansion and contraction.
The Hardstone range is the thickness stated above, sometimes there may be a small amount outside of this range.
